Review and Rating Kyun! Ho Gaya Na is a typical Bollywood romance film, with a predictable plot and clichéd dialogues. The film tries to explore the theme of love versus friendship, but fails to do so convincingly. The film also suffers from a slow pace and a long runtime of 172 minutes. The film has some comic moments, but they are not enough to keep the audience engaged. The film also has some unrealistic scenes, such as Arjun flying a helicopter to Coorg and Diya jumping off a cliff into a river. The film's saving grace is the chemistry between the lead pair, Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai. They look good together and deliver decent performances. Aishwarya Rai looks stunning in every frame and portrays Diya's character with grace and charm. Vivek Oberoi plays Arjun's role with ease and flair. Amitabh Bachchan adds some star value to the film, but his role is not very significant. Sunil Shetty and Dia Mirza have small roles, but they do justice to them. Kajal Aggarwal makes a confident debut as Diya's sister. The music of the film is another highlight, as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy create some memorable tunes that suit the mood of the film. The songs are well picturised and choreographed, especially Aao Naa and Tu Hai Sola. The cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee is also impressive, as he captures the scenic beauty of Coorg and Mumbai. Overall, Kyun! Ho Gaya Na is a watchable film for those who enjoy romantic films, but it is not a memorable one. It is a one-time watch for the fans of Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai, who share a good chemistry on screen. Rating: 2.5/5
